Mother-of-Pearl Elemental Chariot
Summary
The mother-of-pearl elemental chariot is a light chariot found docked at a cove with water elementals chained to it. The elementals wanted to show the party where the Excellence lived and agreed to come with them on the big boat. The party took the chariot back to the ship, and later had Zinquiss arrange its sale at the Hartwall Grand Auction House.
Known Details
- It had a mother-of-pearl frame and weighed 8-10 kg.
- Water elementals were chained to it when the party found it.
- The party freed the elementals before taking the chariot back to the ship.
- The freed elementals rode on the chariot while it was pulled back, then returned home afterward.
- Zinquiss planned to sell it at auction in seven days at the Freeport auction house; the eventual attended sale was the Hartwall Grand Auction House auction.
- At Hartwall, the chariot interested The Guilt, was connected to an Excellence defeated in the
battle of the unending seas, drew bids from Ravens, jewellery men, an emissary, Dally, the Hartwall partner, and Lady Thorpe, and was taken to the Palace with other auction property.
Current Status
The chariot should be treated as not currently held by the party. It was recovered by the party on Day 22 after the water elementals were freed, placed with Zinquiss for sale, appeared as the chariot lot at the Hartwall auction on Day 33, and was taken to the Palace with the auction property. The final buyer or claimant, party proceeds, and reason for Palace intervention remain unresolved.
