Summary

Errol is an Obsidian Raven used by the party for communication, scouting, and message delivery, and later becomes a party companion. His origin is uncertain: he was found or obtained as an obsidian bird and was once described as Errol, “but not really.” After disappearing for what felt to him like 117 years, including decades of darkness and gem-eating, he returned with memory gaps and possible influence from Squwal. He remains a valuable messenger and scout despite these unresolved changes; a fragment of Haze, one of Sierra’s dogs, was also placed inside him to help locate the missing tail.
