Summary
Groushin is the hidden settlement’s head speaker, historian, Attabre priest, and Stoneteller: a lean dwarf with black curly hair and beard who speaks for local stones and earth elementals.
Known Details
- He said Hammerguard was named for ruling classes whose members styled themselves
of Hammerguard, and that Invar’s ancestry likely leads there. - Relaying the stones, he called Eliana
Eliana of two livesand said neither identity should be surrendered to others’ voices. - The stones described the party as six people linked across ages and time. They agreed the Barrier should come down because it could enable mass extermination, but did not guarantee the party’s success.
- Groushin served as the voice through which Tor addressed the party, describing Tor’s connection to the stones, an enchained soul whose tears fill a waterfall, and bridges as pacts between earth and air.
- He explained the Great Removal, elven husks, dark elves, Envy’s demons, and prime beings’ balance bargain as religious and historical testimony.
- He offered to contact noncombatant dwarves still inside Envy’s city, who could become a small army if Envy’s control broke, and introduced Chip as a guide.
