Summary
Lady Thorpe, also known as Lady Fraya Thorpe, is Lady Kalissa Hartwall’s wife or partner and a front-line noble or commander. She was abducted and replaced by a magical impostor who appeared at the Hartwall auction, failed to recognize the party, and transformed into a llama when its concentration spell was broken. The real Lady Thorpe was found injured and malnourished in a Goldenswell prison and rescued by the party. Her account afterward linked the departing Goldenswell army to a man with the lower body of a snake.
Known Details
- On Day 8, Hartwall militia reported back to Lady Thorpe after the party briefed them on Everchard’s mind wipe, citizen stealing, missing militia, and Barrier attacks.
- At the Hartwall auction, the apparent Lady Thorpe had six guards in transparent dragon or silver dragon livery, seemed flustered and confused, did not appear to recognize the party properly, and insisted on returning to failing front lines.
- When a concentration spell failed, the false Lady Thorpe turned into a llama; Justicars took the llama to Grand Towers.
- The real Lady Thorpe was found by scrying in a grey mountain-stone dungeon on Day 33 and located in the Goldenswell militia house, two floors down, on Day 34.
- She was injured, malnourished, and had no fleshcrafting when rescued.
- After revival, she reported a man with the lower half of a snake’s body travelling back with the Goldenswell army when they decided to leave.
