sphinx or former sphinx
Kokirem
Summary
Kokirem is the sphinx or higher minion of Attabre associated with the dwarves. Day 58 revealed that Merikok appears to be the fallen form of Kokirem, with part of him missing. A later account from the stones, relayed by Chip, suggests that Kokirem was captured, imprisoned, possibly burned alive, and altered by strange magic before becoming the smoke-like Merikok remnant.

Their account says he was imprisoned, may have been burned alive, and then subjected to strange magic that left a smoke-like remnant identified with Merikok. Chip was not present, so this account does not establish the exact sequence or which individuals were responsible.
