Summary

The Hartwall and Goldenswell crisis began at the Grand Auction House, where the party concealed a shield-crystal piece, followed The Basilisk’s prison warning, and exposed an impostor posing as Lady Thorpe. They found the real Lady Thorpe imprisoned in Goldenswell, uncovered an off-the-books network moving captives in prisoner carts, and rescued council members and other prisoners. The operation revealed ear-grub memory control that erased memories of The Guilt, created distrust and a feeling of being watched, and raised the unresolved possibility of Noxia-linked identity suppression.
