Shield Crystal Mission

Summary

The shield crystal mission was a coordinated Pact, Freeport, merfolk, and clerical operation launched from Pier 12 to secure the sea shield crystal and investigate the Sahuagin threat around Dunhold Cache. Using guest shells that enabled only limited underwater action, the party split its forces: one group approached the crystal while the other rescued Kiendra, who was found weak and tortured. They defeated the Bug Boss and other defenders, recovered the roughly one-metre shield crystal, and found the Huntmaster fighting an Excellence, which died in the confrontation. The mission also produced a chained water-elemental chariot and began the crystal’s later movement through Xinquiss/Zinquiss to Hartwall, where it was hidden from Justicars.
