Lortesh

Summary

Lortesh was a monstrous green-dragon-linked threat, also encountered in Dunnensend as Uncle Hortekh and as one of the Twisted. He was the son of Peridita and Infestus, and also Peridita’s husband. His appearances involved enslaved, sickly Goliaths, poisoned woodland, Dunnensend, and an attempt to recover a flesh-crafting wand. The party eventually recorded killing him, but the missing pages immediately before that fight and the note untruly end leave the exact circumstances and finality of his death uncertain.

  • Lortesh is Peridita and Infestus’ son.
  • Lortesh is also Peridita’s husband.
  • Azureside records named Peridita’s new mate as Lortesh, also her son, called The Twisted.
  • Confirmed children of Lortesh and Peridita include Inqueshvash, Emeredge / Emmeredge, Lapis, Heady, and Plague. Emeredge is one of the Twisted.
  • Verdigrim is Lortesh’s son and the prisoner later connected to the Tarnished; the Tarnished are Verdigrim’s copper-goliath / dragonborn offspring.
  • He wore a metal helmet lined with finger bones and metal hooks carrying trophies from his kills.
  • Recorded features include two heads, weeping pores, an alien head, no lips, and other monstrous green-dragon traits.
  • In Dunnensend, Uncle Hortekh was Lortesh: the massive verdian/veridian Dragonborn who appeared with two sickly Goliath slaves, threatened Dirk and the Goliaths, and said he would get him one day.
