Summary

Blackhold, also called Black Hold or Black Dragon City, is a city outside the Barrier associated with the Black Scales. It is the city previously described as controlled or used by the Black Scales, with a doorway guarded by Nelkish at Coalmount Falls. That doorway connects to the door at the top of the mountain at Dulpeake, near Coalmount Falls.

  • Day 23 identifies Blackhold as a city outside the Barrier controlled or used by the Black Scales.
  • Merfolk said Blackhold had a door into the dome, with access requiring a Grand Towers penny; later clarification identifies the Coalmount Falls doorway guarded by Nelkish as a doorway to Blackhold, connecting to the door at the top of the mountain at Dulpeake, near Coalmount Falls.
  • Day 39 identifies Nelkish, Infestus’s son, as the guard at the doorway to Blackhold during the Coalmount Falls / Domain of Anthrosite encounter.
