place
Highden
Summary
Highden was a major battlefront across Days 37 and 38, with a cathedral, river battle line, and troops occupying local inns as the town came under attack. Its people suffered blistering crystal sickness, while false replies sent through the military’s obsidian ravens prevented reinforcements from arriving. After Highden fell, its army retreated to the firewise mountain’s second level; the party and Hartwall forces then faced tribesfolk, giants, and dragons, including a skeletal dragon carrying a book from Brutor Ruby Eye’s laboratory. Later reports said giants had demolished the town.
