Summary

Eliana is one of the original four player characters, played by Kirsty, and is a rogue and Assassin. Because Kirsty is also the note taker, early handwritten records underrepresent Eliana except where her actions or later revelations are explicit; first-person wording in those notes refers to Eliana’s perspective unless the local context shows otherwise. The plot later identifies her as Eliana Hartwall, daughter of Lady Evalina Hartwall and the white dragon Icefang, and as Lady Kalissa Hartwall’s sister. Attabre also claims Eliana as his daughter through the white-dragon and sphinx lineage. Eliana is the Little Finger of The Hand, and her history involves the Chorus, death and reincarnation, a death-realm prison, and resistance to the spells that affected Kalissa. Valenth Cardonal’s recovered memory of Eliana as Hartwall’s second child raises the unresolved question of what Eliana’s original form or body was.

Character Voice

Eliana’s table personality is bold, physical, and instinctively experimental. She often tests danger directly: touching thresholds, climbing into strange spaces, forcing stuck problems, and acting before the whole mechanism is understood. The party treats this as recognisably Eliana rather than random recklessness. Her impulsiveness is balanced by capability; when she pushes into trouble, the group often follows, adapts, or relies on her to turn the first alarming move into forward progress.

Day 23 Details

At Freeport’s Drunken Duck, the barman’s phrase “only the best for the Little Finger” referred to Eliana as the Little Finger member of The Hand.

Day 35 Details

Day 35 identifies Lady Katherine Cole, a rescued council prisoner, as Eliana’s boss, answering the earlier question about Eliana’s Underbelly boss.

Day 57 Details

The dragon memory door led to Provista about twenty years earlier, where a box from Everchard was delivered to Eliana’s family with a baby and sword.
Morgana said the Chorus made Eliana.
The notes exclaim Eliana Hartwall! at 1 AM.
The Chorus had black thread sewn through eyes and mouth; Morgana found black thread in the baby/sword context.
Lord Bleakstorm wanted the party to save him and free Icefang’s spirit, which remained in the dome because Icefang died there.
Attabre said Eliana was Icefang’s daughter and also Attabre’s, not just Icefang’s.
Eliana is also Attabre’s daughter because of the white dragon story: Icefang is a white dragon, Anadreste sacrificed herself into the white dragons, and the Sphinx are the children of Attabre.
Eliana and Lady Kalissa Hartwall are sisters; Icefang is their white dragon father, and Lady Evalina Hartwall is their mother.
Day 47’s Hartwall-child tea-party labels and girls’ room scene place Poopoo Head as one sister’s name for the other; the sister was either Eliana or Lady Kalissa Hartwall.
Attabre said Eliana was killed for getting in the way and being strong-willed; Lady Kalissa Hartwall accepted the spells, while Eliana did not.
Icefang got Lady Kalissa Hartwall out and then fell into slumber.
Necrotic damage in Throngore’s prison briefly changed Eliana into a silver dragonborn with ribbons on the horns and a teddy on the belt.
The nearby rock guy was Stone Rampart. Eliana’s mother killed him and dedicated him to Kasha; he grew to like Eliana.

Day 58 Details

Lord Briarthorn recognized Eliana in the death realm because she looked different there; outside it, he knew her only because he could feel it.
Eliana told Valenth Cardonal, It appears that I am Eliana Hartwall.
Valenth Cardonal remembered Hartwall’s second child as if recovering a forgotten fact and recalled Eliana as a little whelp who was protective of her mother.
Valenth Cardonal suggested that restoring Eliana’s original form or body, if possible, was beyond her and might require a priest of Igraine.
During talk of Eliana, Mama Hartwall, and school memories, Morgana saw Valentinhide as a naked long-haired woman reflected in Invar’s armour and later motion in Eliana’s dagger; Valenth Cardonal knew who she was but would not say, adding that if the party could remember her, she was not fully gone.
The party’s Day 58 priorities included removing Envy’s influence on Mama Hartwall, freeing Mama Hartwall, and revealing that Eliana is her daughter.
