Summary

The Chorus is an eighty-ish woman, title, or supernatural role based in a bird-filled swamp hut, unusually resistant to the memory alteration affecting Everchard. Blindfolded and with her mouth sewn shut, she nevertheless understands how memory magic turns events into convenient forms and receives or interprets visions from the ancient. The Chorus sent Morgana to join the party because the visions went better when there were five members, and her birds continue to serve as scouts and watchers. Whether “The Chorus” names one woman, a title, an organization, or a collective remains unresolved.
